Why I have to study high level of mathematics that is too difficult
to use in real life? Have you ever asked yourself this question?
According to New sixth-form maths course will focus on ‘real’problems, the UK government invests to develop a new math courses which can
answer a question in everyday life situations in order to attract students to
take math course after GCSE more than nowadays which after GCSE many students think
that math is too difficult for them. The new math courses are linked to other
subjects and related to real situations that make students understand why you should
learn about math.
Last month my sister asked me that why she has to study a
Calculus course and what is usage of it, but I could not answer her question
clearly because I also do not know how I can apply it in my common life. I
think this is a serious problem for mathematics because if students do not know
what common objective that they study math for, they won’t play more attention
to it, which not interested and too difficult. Although math is quite difficult
to understand, studying it has many advantages; for example, you can get an
answer for any problem logical that means math make people think by step to
step with reasonably.
In my opinion, nowadays, education system forces students to
study any subjects by grading, although students is not interested them from them minds. This make them only understand materials for doing exams, then can through it out from their remember after that. If students can choose any subjects to study, they will decide by following important points which are their interests and benefits for their future life or work in their view. Therefore, in order to show that subject is important easily is to link the subject to real life situation and describe the way that the subject can solve real life problem.

I have been told that Calculus is a basic for mathematics formulas. When we come up with a short formula, we can prove this formula by applying Calculus but it is long and difficult. Therefore, we just remember to the short formula to use in a daily life.
