According to “James Bond star Daniel Craig visits Camp Bastion troops” article, the UK troops who are at Camp Bastion in Afghanistan were surprised by James Bond coming to visit before they prepared to watch the latest of 007 film (Skyfall).
That was a good way to serve the country which super starts can encourage their real heroes who served their country in overseas and the soldiers were very impressive and appreciated it very much. Although this time is an actor, many actresses usually came to visit their troops outside their country during the second world war.

It might enhance their inspiration to imitate as their favorite stars. However, Jame bond characterizes as a clever and honest detective, most of his character express in violent ways. It is not good characters for children.
